The Process:

Matt reviews any draft materials you have prepared (e.g., book description, outline, sample material)
90-minute kick-off call, then weekly communication via email and one 30-minute call per week as needed
Initial editorial pass focused on macro issues of structure, sequence, voice, and argumentation
Second editorial pass focused on line editing and refinement

Perfect if you:

Have a complete draft manuscript that needs reorganizing, rewriting, or polish
Have or think you could get interest from publishers but don’t have time to further develop your material
Would benefit from support in aligning your vision for the book with the effect on the page
